Nervous system pattern

The activation system routes through the mind — desire becomes a thought before it becomes a physical impulse. Multiple simultaneous activations compete for the system's resources, producing the characteristic scattered energy that feels purposeful in the moment and exhausting in retrospect.

Somatic signature

Racing thoughts during activation — the mind that generates plans faster than the body can implement them. Physical energy that scatters across multiple channels rather than concentrating into sustained movement. Tension in the hands, shoulders, and throat from the pressure of unexpressed or over-expressed communication.

Wound pattern

Early environments where direct action was dangerous but talking was safer — or where the mind was the domain in which the self felt most competent and safe, leading to the intellectualization of desire and anger.

Healing path

Developing the capacity to complete one direction of action before initiating another. Grounding practices that move activation from the mental to the physical register.
