Mars in Taurus

Slow-building desire, sustained effort, and the explosive potential of a system that tolerates much before it responds

Nervous system pattern

A nervous system with a high frustration threshold — the sympathetic activation rises slowly, builds over time, and discharges with unusual force when it finally reaches its limit. The system is built for sustained application, not speed. Forced pace produces physiological distress more than thwarted goals.

Somatic signature

Weight and density in the body's movement and posture. The slow, significant build of anger that the body holds for long periods before expressing. Physical pleasure responses of unusual quality during sensory experience — this is a body that genuinely savors. Tension in the neck and base of skull from sustained stubborn-holding.

Wound pattern

Early experiences of having resources, comforts, or personal pace disrupted without warning. The adaptation: develop extraordinary patience and persistence — and the corresponding shadow of an inability to release, surrender, or change course once committed.

Healing path

Developing flexibility — the capacity to release a direction before it becomes a fixed position. Learning to respond earlier in the frustration cycle rather than holding until the response becomes unavoidably forceful.
