Moon in Sagittarius

Emotional freedom, the need for space and expansion in love, and the fear that commitment equals limitation

Nervous system pattern

The Sagittarius Moon nervous system uses expansion — physical, philosophical, experiential — as its primary regulatory state. Confinement, obligation, or the sense of being emotionally hemmed in activates threat. The system needs access to openness in order to feel safe.

Somatic signature

A literal sense of physical opening and expansion in the body when free — and physical constriction when feeling emotionally obligated or limited. The body that can breathe in open landscapes and contracts in enclosed ones.

Wound pattern

Early experiences of emotional smothering, excessive obligation, or the loss of self in relationship — producing the learning that love requires the sacrifice of freedom. The Sagittarius Moon adaptation: keep moving, keep the horizon visible, and resist attachment that requires the surrender of autonomy.

Healing path

Discovering that commitment and freedom are not opposites — that genuine intimacy is a form of expansion rather than limitation. The somatic work is developing the capacity to feel free within a committed relationship.
