Sun in Capricorn
Identity through achievement and sustained contribution, the self that must build something to fully exist, and the wound of the premature adult
Nervous system pattern
The self-system is organized around sustained, structured effort in service of meaningful objectives. Identity is most coherent when the self is demonstrating competence and building something with lasting value. Being perceived as frivolous, incompetent, or unnecessary produces a specific identity threat.
Somatic signature
The weight of responsibility felt as a physical reality — not a metaphor but a somatic load. The specific quality of somatic satisfaction — distinct from pleasure — when a significant objective is achieved. The body that has been prepared for adult responsibilities since before it was ready.
Wound pattern
Early experiences that required adult-level functioning before developmental readiness — carrying emotional, financial, or practical responsibilities that were the appropriate domain of the adults in the environment. The identity that formed around this premature competence: I am what I produce.
Healing path
Recovering the self's right to be incomplete, playful, and process-oriented without requiring the process to produce. Learning that identity does not require demonstrated achievement to be valid.
