Mars in Aries
Direct action, immediate desire, and the challenge of sustained effort when the initial heat fades
Nervous system pattern
High-amplitude sympathetic activation that rises and falls rapidly — mobilizing quickly and forcefully, then settling when the action is complete or the obstacle is removed. The system is built for short, intense bursts rather than sustained low-intensity application. Thwarted action produces a sharper frustration response than for most placements.
Somatic signature
Forward pressure in the head and chest during desire and pursuit. Heat and tension across the forehead and jaw during frustration. The body that starts fast and needs to move — physical stillness during activation feels dangerous rather than neutral.
Wound pattern
Early environments where directness was punished, where anger was dangerous, or where the self's natural assertiveness was systematically shut down. The result: anger that bypasses expression and converts directly into explosion, because the middle register was never safe.
Healing path
Developing the capacity for graduated anger expression — the space between suppression and explosion. Learning to sustain effort beyond the initial burst without interpreting the diminishing heat as failure.
