Saturn in the 2nd House

Money, self-worth, accumulated resources, and the right to want more than is strictly necessary

Nervous system pattern

The nervous system activates a threat response specifically in the domain of financial expansion, receiving payment, and claiming value. Charging more, receiving a gift, or experiencing financial surplus can trigger the same physiological state as a threat — because in the early environment, financial need was associated with danger, shame, or restriction.

Somatic signature

Constriction in the throat when quoting a price. Tightness in the chest when receiving payment. A background sense of waiting for financial security to be taken away — the body bracing even during periods of actual sufficiency.

Wound pattern

Early messages — explicit or implicit — that wanting money was shameful, greedy, or unsafe. Family financial anxiety transmitted as a somatic template rather than a conscious belief. The worth wound: the implicit learning that one's value requires constant external validation and is never securely established.

Healing path

Slow, titrated exposure to the experience of receiving and keeping — allowing the nervous system to update its prediction that abundance is followed by loss. Somatic practices specifically designed for the moment of quoting a price or receiving payment.
