Attachment, self-concept, and the conditional identity
Psychology in this framework means the specific internal architecture built in early relational environments — the attachment style formed before conscious memory, the self-concept shaped by what was mirrored back, and the internal working models that run as background software in every subsequent relationship.
The wound pattern
The wound in this dimension is the conditional self-concept: the belief, held below conscious awareness, that one's value is contingent on performance, accommodation, or the suppression of inconvenient parts of oneself.
The healing path
The healing path moves from identification with the adaptive self to curiosity about the self beneath the adaptation. This is not therapy as symptom management. It is the recovery of the original self — the one that existed before the relational environment required a specific performance.
